Abhishek Chakraborty is the Chief Executive Officer of DTDC Express Limited, India’s lead- ing Integrated Express Logistics player, and heads the company’s busi- ness, operations, and strategy. He joined DTDC in 2009, leading the Retail Business and developing the DayDefinite Premium Express Services called DTDC ShipAs- sure™. In the early years, he strengthened DTDC’s International offering and laid the foundation for B2C services. He has led company-wide programs that brought vital operational and technological ad- vancements to DTDC. He has continued spearheading several digitally-driven initiatives with a strong B2B/B2C focus that have re-defined DTDC as a Solution Provider of choice by “Building a Next- Gen DTDC for GenNext DTDCians”. Abhishek is currently focused on re- shaping DTDC’s operational footprint and re-engineering its infrastructure, leverag- ing the company’s market-leading posi- tion. His goal is to enhance DTDC’s digital capabilities to drive hypergrowth across its business verticals, which include Express Parcels, International Logistics, and Integrated E-commerce Logistics. By 2025, he aims to establish DTDC as the reference player in India’s express industry. Before joining DTDC, Abhishek was a management consultant with Ac- centure’s Global Talent and Innovation Network, where he focused on projects in the Global Banking and Financial Services sector. Prior to that, he served as an Associate at one of the world’s leading investment banking firms.
